PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-weighted low-priced measuring device which can deal with various pit lengths without requiring a filter by using a binarized signal generated from a regenerative signal. ;SOLUTION: This is a device measuring the modulation factor of the regenerative HF signal of a compact disk 1. It is provided with an analyzer unit 4 binarizedly processing one part of the regenerative HF signal 3, and a digital oscilloscope 6 measuring the modulation factor of the regenerative HF signal synchronizing with a binarized signal by setting the binarized regenerative HF signal 5 as a trigger signal source, and actuating pulse width trigger to the remaining regenerative HF signal.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
