PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial fishing reef member easy for attaching the spores of seaweeds, exhibiting a strong fixing power of the roots of the seaweeds and growing a place of seaweeds in a short period. PSOLUTION: A mixture of wood powder and a resin is formed to a plate form by an injection molding method. By forming unevenness mimicking the surface of a rock on the surface of the plate on molding and also forming in a plurality of grooves and holes, the plate is prepared as the artificial fishing reef member. By forming a groove at the peripheral part of the artificial fishing reef member, a string-shaped seed bed is inserted into the groove.
