PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate key information by using a unidirectional function. ;SOLUTION: The methods comprizes a 1st step for generating plural blocks each consisting of bits less than the bits of a 1st bit array in a matrix by inputting information on which a key is based and arranging the respective bits of the inputted bit array in the matrix according to a specific array rule and further outputting a 2nd bit array of bits less than the bits of the 1st bit array by using the bits obtained by logically operating the bits of respective blocks by the blocks and a 2nd step for previously setting respective element values consisting of a 3rd bit array of bits less than those of the 2nd bit array in a table while making them correspond to rows and columns and outputting one element value as key information corresponding to a specified position in the matrix.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
