PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk cartridge of a single-lief shutter which has compatibility with a disk cartridge of a double-lief shutter and is adaptable to a disk of a both side recording type. PSOLUTION: The disk cartridge is provided with the shutter (22) which is disposed freely movably between one close position for closing an aperture and one open position for opening the aperture, and a protrusion (24) which is a protrusion varying in length from a central line (C) of a main body when the shutter is energized to the close position toward both ends (23a and 23b) and is integrally formed with the shutter in such a manner that the shutter moves from the close position toward the open position when the one end (23a) of the side farther in the distance from the central line goes beyond the central line.
