PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic flow velocity distribution meter and a flow meter for accurately measuring the flow velocity distribution or flow volume by sufficiently reducing standing noise superimposed on an ultrasonic echo signal relative to the ultrasonic echo signal.;SOLUTION: This ultrasonic flow velocity distribution meter is equipped with a transducer 15 for emitting ultrasonic pulses toward a measurement line ML in a metallic pipe 18 to receive ultrasonic echo signals, and a signal processing means 25 as well as a signal analyzing means 26 for signal-processing and analyzing the received echo signals to find the positions and velocities of an ultrasonic reflection body group running along the measurement line ML. The processing means 25 is equipped with a bandpass filtering processing part 31, an AD converter 32, and a wall filter processing part 33. The processing part 33 reduces clutter noise components superimposed on the received echo signals, making it possible to accurately measure the flow velocity distribution or flow volume.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
