PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent safety valves from sticking to each other within a parts feeder in the manufacturing process of sealed lead-acid batteries, and prevent the safety valve 1 from sticking to an upper lid 3, when used as a battery. SOLUTION: The use of safety valves 1 having flat and smooth loading surfaces to safety valve tubes 2 and bumpy outer surfaces can heighten adaptability of a parts feeder in the manufacturing process of lead-acid batteries and can improve productivity of a large extent. Further, the use of the safety valve 1 can prevent the safety valve 1 from sticking to an upper lid 3 and provide the sealed lead-acid battery having superior airtightness.
