PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a building analyzing model to be applied to a general program for analyzing buildings to be executed on a normal computer to perform satisfactory vibration analysis. SOLUTION: In this building analyzing model, a building 1 is represented as a vibrating system in which a plurality of mass point elements (m) are vertically connected to each other via spring elements (k) (1). Dummy mass point elements dm of mass 0 are each simulatively set at the midpoint of the spring element (k) between the adjacent mass point elements (m), and each part between the mass point elements (m) is divided by the dummy mass point element dm so as to be formed of two upper and lower simulated layers UL and LL (2). Each spring element (K) is set by parallelly arranging a rotating spring element kθ of shear rigidity 0 and a shear spring element ks of flexural rigidity 0 with a height dimension (h) with an upper end node (a) of a rotation-free node and lower end node (b) of a rigid joint node to transfer a rotating moment (3).
