PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an axial blower causing no reduction of the effect of enlargement of the operation range by an air separator even in the case of using the operating fluid including many dust and mist components. ;SOLUTION: In an axial blower, plural rotor blades 1 are fitted to a hub 2 rotating with a rotary shaft. An annular air separator 5 is provided outside of the rotor blade in the radial direction. The air separator 5 has a hollow ring member 6, a first plate member 14 and a second plate member 15 respectively fixed to the ring member 6. The first plate member 14 and the ring member 6 are respectively formed with plural injection holes 7. Deposit adhered to the air separator can be eliminated by leading the high-pressure fluid into these injection holes.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
