PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absolutely unique cracker composed of cereal grains such as rice grains agglomerated in granular form similar to Okoshi (millet- and-rice cake) and produced by baking or frying the grains in a manner similar to the production of cubic rice cake and rice cracker. PSOLUTION: A mixture 2 of hydrated cereal grains 1 and a thickener is filled in a mold 3 and steamed in the mold to expand and gelatinize the grains 1 in the mixture 2 and obtain an expanded mixture 4 in which the adjacent grains are bonded with each other.
