PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable manual mirror surface adjustment and motor-driven storage and return. ;SOLUTION: Shaft members 2, 3 are fitted to a bracket 1 through a pivot mechanism and a guide mechanism in such a manner as to turn on a longitudinal axis X-X passing the center O of the pivot mechanism and a transversal axis Y-Y, a mirror assembly 4 is supported on the shaft members 2, 3, and a motor 5 and a reduction mechanism 50 are interposed between the mirror assembly 4 and the shaft members 2, 3. Accordingly, the mirror surface of the mirror assembly 4 can be adjusted in the lateral direction round the longitudinal axis X-X and in the vertical direction round the transversal axis Y-Y, and the mirror assembly 4 can be turned to be displaced between the working position and the storage position through the reduction mechanism 50 by driving the motor.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
