PURPOSE: To eliminate leak of emitted light from the area other than the corresponding display holes by providing a light shading means between a first surface and a substrate in such a manner as transmitting the light emitted from a surface mounting light emitting element to the second surface of the panel only from the corresponding display holes. CONSTITUTION: A dummy chip 5 is provided between SMD type LED 1 and 2. This dummy chip 5 is formed, for example and with a light shading plate such as a metal plate. The emitted lights of SMD LED 1 and 2 pass to the side of external surface 4b of a cosmetic panel 4 through the corresponding display holes 4c, 4d as shown in 11a and 12a. The light beam reflected by the recessed surfaces 5c, 5d passes to the side of the external surface 4b of the panel 4 via the display holes 4c and 4d corresponding to SMD LED 1 and 2 as shown in 11c and 12c. That is, the diffused light beams to each direction can be shaded, that is and leak of light beam can be prevented by providing a dummy chip 5 between the SMD LED 1 and 2.
