Manufacturing method of hot metal pretreatment slag suitable for material of interest

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a producing method of a molten iron pretreating slag which prevents powdering of the molten iron pretreating slag and is suitable for reutilization. ;SOLUTION: When a dephosphorizing treatment and a desulfurizing treatment are executed as the pretreatment of molten iron, the slag after executing the dephosphorizing treatment by using converter slag as a whole or a part of CaO component in a dephosphorizing agent and before executing the desulfurizing treatment, is recovered. When the dephosphorizing treatment and the sulfurizing treatment are executed as the pretreatment of the molten iron, the method for recovering such slag may be also adopted that the desulfurizing treatment is executed by using desulfurizing agent consisting essentially of CaO and successively, the dephosphorizing treatment is executed by using the converter slag as a whole or a part of CaO component in the dephosphorizing agent.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
