PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separate an ink component in froth to recycle a fiber material and an inorganic material, to improve the yield, and to reduce the load of a waste water treatment facility. PSOLUTION: This method for producing deinked pulp is characterized by containing a flotation treatment process 3 or a white water treatment process 9 in a process for producing the deinked pulp from waste paper, bringing the froth generated in the flotation treatment process 3 or the white water treatment process 9 into contact with a solvent to separate into the oily layer and the water layer, treating the oily layer at the outside of the deinked pulp-producing process and returning the water layer to the deinked pulp-producing process.
