"METHOD AND COMPOSITIONS USING FORMULATION OF LECYTIN OILS AND NON-STEROID ANTI-INFLAMMATORY DRUGS (NSAIDS) TO PROTECT GASTROINTESTINAL TRACT AND PROVIDE GREATER THERAPEUTIC ACTIVITY." An innovative pharmaceutical composition is provided in which non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS) are added directly to a phospholipid-containing oil, such as lecithin oils, or added to a biocompatible oil to which a phospholipid has been added to manufacture a formulation containing non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, which has low gastrointestinal toxicity and increased therapeutic activity to treat or prevent inflammation, pain, fever, platelet aggregation, tissue ulcerations, and other tissue disorders. The composition of the invention is in the form of an aqueous solution, paste, suspension, dispersion, colloidal suspension or in the form of an aqueous emulsion or microemulsion for internal, oral, direct or topical administration.
