"FORMULATION OF NANOPARTICULATED SPIRONOLACTON FORMULATION, USE OF SPIRONOLACTON NANOUSPENSIONS, CRYSTALLINE NETWORK SYSTEM, AND PROCESS FOR PREPARING A NONOPARTICULATED SPIRONOLACTON FORMULATION". The invention relates to a topical nanoparticulate spironolactone formulation comprising nanoparticles having an average diameter, measured by photon correlation spectroscopy, within the range of about 300 nm to about 900 nm. The nanoparticles are incorporated into a crystal lattice system comprising a dispersion of solid polar lipid crystals, said lipids exposing their hydrophilic side outward and their hydrophobic side inward toward the spironolactone nanoparticles.
