"Biossensor based on HRP for quick assessment of the antioxidant capacity of plant extracts".Using a methodology based on the development and application of chemical devices, and biosensors. To characterize an important application of electrochemical biossensor for detection of phenolic compounds. The biossensor amperomu00e9trico, was applied for the evaluation of the antioxidant capacity of the extracts of tea owned antiradical is widely known. This assessment was made by the correlation of the content of phenolic compounds in terms of total phenols.Quantified by biossensor and total antioxidant activity (AAT) by the method of radical relatively stable DPP ^ sym ^ (1,1 - diphenyl - 2 - picrilhidrazil). The antioxidant effect was evaluated based on the calculation of CI ~ 50 ~.Ci ~ 50 ~ represents the necessary concentration of antioxidant to reduce 50% of the initial concentration of DPPH ^ sym ^.The remainder of the radical concentration in the reaction medium was calculated by the calibration curve using the Trolox as reference compound.Samples of black tea showed the best values of CI ~ 50 ~ (CI = 0.44 ~ 50 ~ 109 mol 1 ^ 1 ^ sym 0091) in comparison to the mate tea (CI ~ 50 ~ = 11.5 109 mol 1 ^ 1 ^ sym 0.32).The correlation coefficient in both samples of tea made it possible to obtain the total antioxidant activity through the following relations: AAT (mate tea) = 0.84 ( sym 0.08) [total phenols] + 2.83.R = 0986 and AAT (black tea) = 39 ( sym 3) [total phenols] + 2.51, r = 0989.These results suggest that the measure of the biossensor it is possible to determine quickly, easy and selective antioxidant capacity of plant extracts.
