"CONTINUOUS PROCESS FOR SEPARATION OF A C ~ 4 ~ FRACTION BY EXTRACTIVE DISTILLATION WITH A SELECTIVE SOLVENT IN AN EXTRACTIVE DISTILLATION COLUMN". The invention relates to a continuous process for separating a C4- (C4-4) fraction by extractive distillation using a selective solvent (LM) in an extractive distillation (EDK) column. A partition wall (TW) forming a first partial region (A), a second partial region (B), and a lower combined column region (C). is arranged longitudinally in the extractive distillation column (EDK). According to this process, a (C4-4H-10 ~) top stream comprising butane is separated from the first partial region (A), a (C4-4H-8 ~) top stream comprising butene is separated from the second partial region (B) and a stream (C ~ 4 ~ H ~ 6 ~) comprising hydrocarbons of fraction C ~ 4 ~ is separated from the lower combined column region (C), said hydrocarbons dissolving more easily in the selective solvent (LM) than butane and butene.
