New bovine and human acidic fibroblast growth factors - useful for stimulating DNA synthesis in responsive cells and esp. for wound heating

Recombinant bovine acidic fibroblast growth factor (aFGF) is new. It pref. has a specified amino acid sequence. Microheterogenous forms of recombinant bovine aFGF are new. Nucleotide sequence coding for bovine aFGF is new. Expression plasmid comprising a nucleotide sequence as defined above is new. Host compatible with and contg. a plasmid as defined above is new. Recombinant human aFGF is new. Microheterogeneous forms, nucleotide sequence, expression plasmid and host, as defined for bovine aFGF, are also new for human aFGF.
