The invention concerns a building method and more particularly a reinforcing member characterised in that it consists in linking the rear face of the facing to the resistant zone with a plurality of reinforcing elements (5) arranged substantially horizontally in superposed planes and in selecting said elements such that each one of them comprises a mobilising or anchoring part included in the resistant zone and formed by a latticework comprising several longitudinal bars whereof only some extend up to the facing to define a tractive working part and having, opposite the mobilising part, a part attached to the facing. The invention is applicable to head walls.
