The present invention relates to a device between a controller based card with an I2C [Integrated Circuit to Integrated Circuit - IC 2 IC - 2(IC) Bus and the keybord for the purpose of input of data in the binary form to the controller with an I2C bus and to a method for providing data using the said device. The present invention relates generally to the input of data in the binary form and data input through the device is to enable processing charting or record keeping and enable ease of operation in the input of data without the necessity of having a serial port.
