In particular the invention relates to the methods of treating conditions and/or symptoms related to common cold comprising administration of a flavonoid or administration of a flavonoid in combination with a metal. The invention furthermore describes compositions comprising a metal and a flavonoid useful for the treatment of conditions and/or symptoms relates to common cold.
