The container base (2), walls and at least one shelf (7) form an integral unit. The base comprises a folding part (9) pivotally connected to a fixed part (8). The rear wall (4) is joined to the fixed part of the base, the two side walls (5, 6) are pivotally connected to the rear wall and the front wall (3) is pivotally connected to one of the side walls to form an access door which can be swung open or shut. The door is fixed against one side wall in the open position and is in contact with the other side wall when closed. Each shelf is pivotally connected to at least one side wall so that it can be folded away against or inside the side wall. An independent claim is also included for an office removal method using these containers, in which the containers are delivered to the first location in nesting stacks, removed one by one from these stacks and the side walls are folded towards each other, the folding part of the base is lowered, the front wall is closed and at least one shelf is unfolded into position.
