we present in this patent, a new image encryption algorithm called 'acim. this algorithm is compatible with the standard jpeg and mpeg 1 / 2. it is carried out: 1. fragmentation of the sequence of data from an encoder in blocks of n bits of entropy production. (n is the size of the secret key encryption).an xor between each block and the block from the frrgmentation which precede. 3. the first block with the encryption technology, 4. pseudo random permutations of the blocks.
