METHOD OF HEATING INGOTS IN SOAKING-PITS

摘要

A method of heating ingots in soaking-pits consists in period of surface temperature of metal increase to prescribed value at constant heating power, and soaking in workspace of the pit under condition of constant temperature of the surface of ingot. Heating is performed by mix of blast-furnace gas and coke gas.
