The proposed device for determining the changes of the imaginary component of complex permittivity of biological substance contains a microwave-frequency oscillator, an automatic frequency control unit, a modulator, a resonance amplifier, a recording unit, a microwave detector, a reference voltage source, a differential amplifier, a modulation frequency multiplier, a phase changer, and an amplitude-and-phase detector. The input of the automatic frequency control unit is connected to the output of the oscillator, and the output is connected to the control input of the generator. The output of the modulator is connected to the modulating input of the oscillator. The modulation frequency multiplier, phase changer, and amplitude-and-phase detector are connected in series and inserted between the output of the modulator and the input of the recording unit.
