METHOD FOR PREDICTION OF HETEROSIS OF YIELD OF THE GRAIN OF SIMPLE MAIZE HYBRIDS

A method for prediction of heterosis of yield of the grain of simple maize hybrids involves analysis of genetic distances between original inbred lines according to the data of the electroforetical distribution of amplicons. The DNA amplification is carried out using ISSR-, single and SSR-primers and, according to the values of genetic distances and allel composition of microsatellite loci of inbred lines, the level of the heterosis of yield of the grain of simple hybrids is identified.
