DEVICE FOR TESTING, AT GROUND TESTS, THE OPERATION OF THE PRESSURE SWITCH OF THE STATIC HEAD OF AN AIRCRAFT AT THE TAKE-OFF LEG

The proposed device for testing, at ground tests, the operation of the pressure switch of the static head of an aircraft at the take-off leg contains a measuring chamber, a vacuum manometer, and a static pressure receiver. The static pressure receiver contains a spiral electric heating element, which enclosures the outside surface of the casing of the receiver, a resistive temperature transducer, which is installed in the casing of the tested pressure switch, and a differential pressure transducer for measuring the differential pressure that causes the operation of the pressure switch. The measuring chamber is coupled with the vacuum system via a pipe with a check valve and a control valve. The present invention provides a possibility to reproduce the real conditions in the operation of the pressure switch at the take-off leg and, as a result, to increase the accuracy in determining the parameters that characterize the operation of the pressure switch.
