The proposed electromechanical device for measuring lateral deformation of a cylindrical sample contains a casing, two movable supports, two fixed supports, two strain-gage transducers, that are coupled with the corresponding movable and the fixed supports, and two springs, which are arranged between the casing and the movable supports. The movablesupports are arranged at the casing perpendicular to its surface. The fixed supports are arranged on the opposite side relative to the corresponding movable supports. All the supports have planar ribs, which are arranged in the same plane.
