Separation and quantitative or qualitative analysis system comprises sample components (4) that are mixed with a mobile particulate solid phase (3) before being desorbed and separated from the latter at the interface between the transport system (5) and a mass-sensitive detector (1). An integrated separation and analysis system for at least one sample component includes a mass-sensitive detector with an angled ionization source, the norm for the transport system outlet extending at an angle from the inlet to the analyzer on the detector.
