The girdle arrangement (1) is for raising a person and comprises two support parts (4) for enclosure of hip joints. A seat support part (3) extends from one hip support part to the other. A back end support part extends from one hip support part to the other. A retention component (7,8) connects the one hip support part with the other via the front side of the person. Two force absorption components (9,10) are fastened to each hip support part for transmission of tractive or support force to the hip support parts.
