The method and equipment are for magnetic nano-particle interaction measurement, but also for employment in medical, bio-technical and ventilation control fields. A desk-top magnetic susceptometer is used, comprising: pick-up coils arranged to avoid magnetic interaction with the environment, in an anti-parallel geometry, creating a quadropole. The coils (3,4), have inter- and intra-acting distances and are tightly fixed by a fixation plate (8) and casting mold (6) to create an accurate positioning during casting. They are molded into a hard and highly thermally conductive resin (7). The susceptometer contains a pre-amplifier which matches the source resistance of the pick-up coils. To achieve the best performance, the output must be electrically balanced to compensate for small differences in dimensions of individual coils in the coil assembly.
