Electronic transaction performing method using mobile phone, uses transaction management server to convert completed order form into standardized transaction format

The transaction is performed using the following steps: (a) sending transaction order form from the content provider to the mobile subscriber; (b) the subscriber confirming the transaction and sending the transaction order form to the browser; (c) the browser reading data needed for the transaction form from the digital wallet, filling the order form with the read transaction data and sending the completed form to the server; (d) the server converting the completed form into a standardized transaction format and sending it to the content provider; and (e) the content provider processing the completed order form and replying to the subscriber. The mobile phone is a GSM phone and the electronic wallet is in the phone SIM card. The standardized transaction format is the Electronic Commerce Modelling Language (ECML) standard. An independent claim is also included for a network for performing this transaction method, comprising a mobile subscriber terminal with a digital wallet and browser, a transaction management server and a content provider with transaction order forms.
