pyramidal sensor for determining the wave aberration of the human eye.; This is a sensor for determining the wavefront aberration of the human eye, using as a pyramid core glass static P, finding particular application in the field of ophthalmology. The P pyramid has four faces P 'which divide the light beam into four parts whose intensity is recorded with a CCD camera or similar intensity detector. Measurements are taken in a plane of the optical system (Fourier plane), being adjustable at will both dynamic range and sampling, can measure the wave aberration function in many circumstances.; Structurally, it may comprise a lens L_ {1} to form the Fourier transform of the pupil function; a glass pyramid P of four faces or facets P ', to divide and angularly separate the electric field into four parts, and a second lens L_ {2} for conjugating the exit plane with a new plane in which is placed the sensor intensity or CCD camera.
