The process involves introducing a sheet of skin in a mold to mold the sheet of skin to a negative contour. A casting is formed. The mold is closed with an upper die to complete formation of a footwear template. The entire template is separated and extracted into two matrices after subsequent solidification of synthetic material. A remaining excess skin is removed through an automatic trimmer machine. Multiple suction nozzles are connected to an external vacuum pump. A template injection opening is formed in the upper die.
