The production of nutrient for plant self-protection consists of dissolving of cytine in an aqueous matrix in a stirred tank containing strong acid, over 24 hours at ambient temperature. Addition of amino carboxylic acid in soluble sodium salt form (2-5 per cent) and then of acetic acid and water with carboxylic acid, is followed by centrifugation, settling and filtration of the liquid.
