The purification of oil mill water consists of flotation by air in a receptacle (1), with homogenization of the skimmed water pumped into a stirred tank (2). The tank (2) receives anti-coagulants and flocculating agents (e) from a tank (10), for threefold settling (3.1,3.2,3.3), filtration (h) and degassing (5). EMBODIMENT - Reactors (5.1,5.2), filtration (6) and oxidation in a contact tower (7) yield water (1) suitable for disposal in the drains.
