Process to reduce adhesive contaminants with a finely divided composition (microadhesives) in the preparation of paper pulp systems containing scrap paper and rejected coated paper, characterized in that, once the mechanical preparation has been completed and once the thick adhesive constituents have been separated (macroadhesives), at least one water soluble organic polyvinyl alcohol or a mixture of various water soluble organic polyvinyl alcohols, and at least one bentonite or a mixture of different bentonites is added to the paper pulp system.
