Device for positioning a prosthesis in the treatment of inguinal hernias by endoscopy, comprising a formed introducer essentially a cylindrical tube (1) of an outside diameter which can contain the prosthesis (4) and a piston (2 ) for injection of the prosthesis in the desired location, from the tube, characterized in that it further comprises a spring which has only two spring arms integral with the piston (2).
