Folding hood (10) of a cabriolet; with a cover lining (11), flexible and especially of textile and multi-piece type, which comprises at least two partial cuts (12, 13), which are fixed together by means of double seams (14 ); in this case, the cover lining (11) has a roof part (15), a rear part (16) - which, if necessary, serves as a catch for a rear glass (18) - as it also has inside the rear area and on both sides, respective side parts (17); this hood is characterized in that the 5 side parts (17) and the rear part (16) constitute a one-piece cover lining part; as well as characterized in that the double seam (14) is arranged exclusively with an extension in the essentially horizontal direction.
