An apparatus for containing and dispensing a plurality of cups (10), each of said cups (10) a portion (15) conical lower, comprising: a tube (45) supply having a lower end and an inner suitable for containing the said cups (10) in a stack, with said stack at least one cup (10b) lower and a cup (10a) near the lowermost positioned above said cup (10b) lower; and an exhaust (75) located adjacent the lower end of said tube (45) supply, wherein each of said cups (10) having a cylindrical portion (20) top having a rim (30) above a flange (25) bottom and a groove (35) formed therebetween, and said exhaust (75) includes a disc (80) having an upper side, a lower side and an aperture (83) formed therein, one first sheet (85) attached to the upper side of said disc (80) and a second sheet (90) attached to the underside of said disk (80); in which said exhaust (75) is movable between a first position in which said second sheet (90) engages the flange (25) bottom of said cup (10b) lower and a second position in which said first sheet (85) is inserted into the groove (35) of said cup (10a) near the lower engages the flange (30) top of said cup (10a) near the lower and wherein said second sheet (90) no longer engages the flange (25) bottom of said cup (10b) lower, so that said cup (10b) lower falls through said aperture (83) formed in said disk (80).
