The preserved fruit and vegetable volatiles absorption agent application technique has sepiolate in association with potassium permanganate, ascorbic acid, sodium citrate and water. The agent (1) is sealed in a set of hot-welded edible paper bags (2,3) located on the fruit and vegetable containers, and the dose (1) varies as a function of the weight of the contents of the container.
