STALL MANAGER SYSTEM, MODULE AND FEEDING DEVICE FOR MANAGEMENT OF MEALTIMES AND FOOD DISTRIBUTION IN ANIMAL STALLS

The stall manager system controls fooddistribution and mealtimes in a given number of animalstalls arranged in stall lines. The system comprisesa given number of electronically controllable feedingdevices mounted in the animal stalls, which arecontrolled by a stall manager module for each one ofthe animal stalls. A central computer unit managesfood distribution and mealtimes relative to thefeeding devices in the animal stalls. The centralcomputer unit has communication resources foraddressing selective command messages to the stallmanager modules to accomplish the management. Thestall manager modules are connected in series, and areeach provided with a repeater circuit for relayingdata between the central computer unit and the nextstall manager module in line. The stall managermodules have a data processing unit for processing thecommand messages addressed to its attention by thecentral computer unit, and resources for producing andtransmitting control signals to the feeding devicesdepending on the received command messages.
