TARGETING SITE-2 PROTEASE (S2P) FOR THE TREATMENT OF PANCREATIC CANCER

Using gene expression profiling, the present invention identifies site-2 protease (S2P) as a diagnostic marker and therapeutic target for pancreatic cancer. The invention therefore provides methods for prediction and detection of S2P associated cancers, and evaluation of inhibitors of S2P. The invention also provides a method of treating or preventing pancreatic cancer in a subject.
