The invention relates to a cosmetic care method enabling the incidence of the mechanical effects stimulating the cellular metabolism and resulting from a massage to be amplified or extended. Said method is characterised in that it combines the effects resulting from a massage with complementary or relaying biological effects, said biological effects being achieved by applying an active galenic base comprising at least one fragranced relaxing volatile fraction to the skin. The invention also relates to a treatment method which implements the inventive method for one of the following purposes: thinning any superficial part of the human body, reducing wrinkles, firming or toning tissues, activating the microcirculation, drainage, and reducing or removing scars and skin defects.
