The object of the Eindung is to increase the safety of a softwaregesteurten system, in particular an electronic signal box for the railway signaling without operating the effort of the solution with diversified software and without lowering the availability of the system. The invention achieves this object by a program module and a method in which output data are means of a first program from input data determined in a first step and a check of only a part of the output data is performed by a second program in a second step, the first relative to the program is implemented in a different logic and a different function.
