PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sound brazing joint part without a leak in low temperature brazing by improving the wettability against aluminum materials wherein the melting point is adjusted according to the composition ratio of a matrix element, and a rare earth element in a range of a specific % is included in the material. ;SOLUTION: A brazing material is produced, which consists of 0.001-3.0 wt.% rare earth element and the balance of Zn and impurities, and an end face of an aluminum pipe 2 is brazed on to an aluminum plate 1. The rare earth element is a general term of Sc, Y, La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Pm, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb and Lu, and has the effect to improve the wettability against the aluminum material respectively. Only one kind of rare earth elements can be used, and two or more kinds can be used at the same time. The mixed material of rare earth elements such as misch metal can be also used.
