POSITION ESTIMATION OF A TERMINAL AND ANOTHER RELATED ENTITY BASED UPON ESTABLISHMENT OR TERMINATION OF CONNECTIONS OF SAID TERMINAL WITH SAID ENTITY

A system, terminal, method and computer program product are provided for obtaini ng the terminal location based upon the termination of one or more connections maintained by the terminal with an entity. The terminal includes a controller, and may additionally include a display. The controller is capable of monitoring the terminal when it establishes a defined connection, and when of the defined connection is terminated. Upon establishmentand/or termination of the defined connection, then, the controller is capable ofbeing triggered to obtain a location of the terminal. In turn, the display can be capable of presenting thelocation of the terminal. Since the connection established by the terminal is maintained with an entity (e.g. a vehicle, automobile, truck, car, or even an electronical device, such a PDA), the invention is particuallary useful for the location of the entity itself (e.g. to find the parking lot where a user left his/her car when visiting a shopping center), because the terminal will store the location information exactly when the connection is broken/terminated, i.e. the information on the last position, before leaving the car.
