The vehicle has a frame (14) joined to a reinforcement frame (30) which has couplings (44,46) on the front (22) and or rear side (24). Compressive forces are absorbed by spring buffers (42). The reinforcement frame is fixed to the vehicle frame on one side, and by means of a pivot bearing (48) on a second side. The pivot bearing allows for rotation on a longitudinal axis parallel with the vehicle's longitudinal axis (36), and rotation on an axis at right angles to the longitudinal axis.
