Cleaning composition for medical devices

A liquid cleaning agent for surgical instruments contains a non-ionic tenside and an amino-acid and/or an amino-acid derivative. The non-ionic tenside is selected from the group of alkylethoxylates whose alkyl groups have a saturated or unsaturated, straight or branched chained alkyl group with 10 to 18 pref. 12 to 14 carbon atoms. The fluid system contains amino-acid carboxylic acid and/or glutaminic acid. The non-ionic tenside contains isotri-decanolethoxylate and/or lipid alcohol polyglycol-ether.
