PLANT-ORIGIN β3-ADRENOCEPTOR AGONIST AND USE OF THE SAME

[MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A lotus leaf extract is prepared and it is found out that quercetin is one of the active components thereof. Effects of quercetin are evaluated by treating a cell expressing human β3-adrenoceptor and a diabetic model mouse with it. As a result, it is found out that quercetin acts as a β3-adrenoceptor agonist and thus exerts an effect of ameliorating obesity and an atidiabetic effect in practice.
